A: No, laser and mechanical engraving are quite different.
Q: Can I use my existing artwork for engraving
purposes?
A: Yes, mechanical
artwork can be sent to us for scanning, and electronic files can also

Q: Our logo is in Mac format for Photoshop, can
it be used for laser engraving?
A: Yes, but it must
be in a size and format we can use. We can convert it for you for an additional

sending it?
A: No, it will be much
better if you send it as a Zip file.
Q: Our logo is embedded in a PowerPoint (or Word)
document, can you use it?

A: The logo on your
website doesn't contain enough pixel information (dpi), as well as being
in a color raster format. Please see "Artwork

Q: We have a three-color logo, will it be suitable
for laser engraving?
A: Since engraving
is essentially a line art or two-color process, a three-color logo by
definition won't work. There is always a way to make a logo like this
into an engraving. Please view the catalog images to see how others have
dealt with this situation, and contact your designer. We can also assist
